Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Beppu' (Nos. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, And 19) by Liz Deschenes was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,870.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liz Deschenes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Shift/Rise #10 in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 26,250.00 (€ 35,646.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Beppu' (Nos. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, And 19) von Liz Deschenes kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.870,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liz Deschenes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Shift/Rise #10 im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.250,00 (€ 35.646,24).
