In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work The Wonderful One sold for USD 1,774,500.00 (€ 1,523,568.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kerry James Marshall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Past Times in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 21,114,500.00 (€ 18,092,973.44).
