Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Pond by Joseph Raffael for USD 125.00 (€ 110.31). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Raffael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Shadow and Reflection in July 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,101.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pond von Joseph Raffael für USD 125,00 (€ 110,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Raffael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lily Shadow and Reflection im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.101,00).
