Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2011 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Joseph Raffael for USD 1,062.50 (€ 741.04). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Raffael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Shadow and Reflection in July 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,101.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2011 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Joseph Raffael für USD 1.062,50 (€ 741,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Raffael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lily Shadow and Reflection im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.101,00).
