Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joseph Raffael could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online auction, the work Summer Fish changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,182.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Raffael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Shadow and Reflection in July 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,101.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Raffael konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Property from the Collection of Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson Online wechselte die Arbeit Summer Fish für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.182,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Raffael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lily Shadow and Reflection im Juli 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.101,00).
