Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Crucifix For Two by Jonathan Horowitz. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,066.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Horowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Obama '08 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 223,500.00 (€ 211,287.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crucifix For Two von Jonathan Horowitz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.066,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Horowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Obama '08 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 223.500,00 (€ 211.287,58).
