Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jonathan Horowitz could be acquired at Phillips in New York in June last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Editions Southampton auction, the work Tennyson, Jasper & Bob changed hands for USD 252.00 (€ 240.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Horowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Obama '08 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 223,500.00 (€ 211,287.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jonathan Horowitz konnte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Editions Southampton wechselte die Arbeit Tennyson, Jasper & Bob für USD 252,00 (€ 240,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Horowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Obama '08 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 223.500,00 (€ 211.287,58).
