Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Daily Mirror by Jonathan Horowitz was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,455.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Horowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Obama '08 in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 223,500.00 (€ 211,287.58).
