Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Temple of Heaven by Huang Yan for USD 1,197.00 (€ 995.01). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Yan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tattoo Series, Plants in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,694.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Temple of Heaven von Huang Yan für USD 1.197,00 (€ 995,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Yan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tattoo Series, Plants im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.694,97).
