Auction result well in line with expectations

In April 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Astro T.R. by Christian Schumann. The price achieved of USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,571.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Schumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Faces) in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 51,357.26).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im April 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Astro T.R. von Christian Schumann zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.890,00 (€ 1.571,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Schumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Faces) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 51.357,26).
