Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ah Geef Op! by Christian Schumann was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 1,008.00 (€ 1,014.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Schumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Faces) in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 51,357.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ah Geef Op! von Christian Schumann kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.008,00 (€ 1.014,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Schumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Faces) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 51.357,26).
