The work TING by Christian Schumann was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. It achieved a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,689.60), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Admittedly, works by Christian Schumann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Faces) in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 51,357.26).

Die Arbeit TING von Christian Schumann kam im Februar 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.689,60) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Christian Schumann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Faces) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 51.357,26).
