Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Christian Schumann could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open | Online auction, the work Aguerra changed hands for USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,144.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Schumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Faces) in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 51,357.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Christian Schumann konnte im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open | Online wechselte die Arbeit Aguerra für USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.144,65) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Schumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Faces) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 51.357,26).
