Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Cowboy Brains by Christian Schumann was auctioned at Christies in October 2021. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,554.19), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Christian Schumann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Faces) in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 44,650.00 (€ 51,357.26).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Cowboy Brains von Christian Schumann kam im Oktober 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.554,19) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Christian Schumann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Faces) im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.650,00 (€ 51.357,26).
