Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dippy’S Delight by Barkley L. Hendricks was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 68,750.00 (€ 64,264.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Barkley L. Hendricks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stanley in May this year with an auction result of USD 6,100,000.00 (€ 5,725,549.09).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 64.264,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00.
