Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fence With Roses by Augustus Thompson was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,496.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Augustus Thompson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2015 the work Natural Order (#2) was auctioned for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,316.24).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.496,88) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
