Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Bean Can) (What number we at?) by Augustus Thompson for GBP 378.00 (€ 434.81). This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Augustus Thompson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Natural Order (#2) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,316.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Bean Can) (What number we at?) von Augustus Thompson für GBP 378,00 (€ 434,81) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Augustus Thompson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Natural Order (#2) im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.316,24).
