Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Annette Lemieux could be acquired at Phillips in New York in November 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contmporary Editions auction, the work Take Your Country Back Forward changed hands for USD 1,000.00 (€ 666.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Annette Lemieux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Presidential Pleasures (Two Parts) in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,632.44).
