Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Annette Lemieux could be acquired at Phillips in New York in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Under the Influence auction, the work Trying One's Virtues changed hands for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,580.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Annette Lemieux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Presidential Pleasures (Two Parts), which sold at auction in January 2008 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,632.44).
