Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Contra by Annette Lemieux was sold in the Open House auction at Christies in New York in July 2012. The auction ended at the price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,248.07), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Other works by Annette Lemieux have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2008 the work Presidential Pleasures (Two Parts) was auctioned for USD 6,875.00 (€ 4,632.44).
