Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swallows Around His Neck (I) by Andrew Lord was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,579.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Andrew Lord have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2014 the work Jug was auctioned for USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Swallows Around His Neck (I) von Andrew Lord wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.579,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
