Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Vase. Round by Andrew Lord. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,821.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Lord - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jug, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vase. Round von Andrew Lord zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.821,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrew Lord mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jug beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.775,42) versteigert wurde.
