Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andrew Lord could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Vase and Dish (Circling and Squaring) changed hands for USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,394.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Lord achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jug in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
