This artwork by Andrew Lord achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in July 2020. In the The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II auction, the work Vase. Round. From Seven Bronzes sold for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,369.97) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Lord - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jug, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 21,775.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andrew Lord erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II wurde die Arbeit Vase. Round. From Seven Bronzes für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.369,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrew Lord mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Jug beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 21.775,42) versteigert wurde.
