This artwork by Alina Szapocznikow achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September this year. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work without title sold for USD 94,500.00 (€ 89,285.71) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alina Szapocznikow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401] in May this year with an auction result of USD 907,200.00 (€ 851,511.17).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alina Szapocznikow erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War to Present wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 94.500,00 (€ 89.285,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alina Szapocznikow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401] im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 907.200,00 (€ 851.511,17).
