It achieved a price of EUR 10,400.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alina Szapocznikow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401] in May this year with an auction result of USD 907,200.00 (€ 851,511.17).

Die Arbeit Bouche-Bague von Alina Szapocznikow wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 10.400,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alina Szapocznikow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401] im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 907.200,00 (€ 851.511,17).
