Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain, which included the work Lampe-Bouche-Sein by Alina Szapocznikow. It changed hands for a price of EUR 169,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alina Szapocznikow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401] in May this year with an auction result of USD 907,200.00 (€ 851,511.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lampe-Bouche-Sein von Alina Szapocznikow zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 169.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alina Szapocznikow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portret Wielokrotny (Dwukrotny) [Multiple Portrait (Double)|AID1113401] im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 907.200,00 (€ 851.511,17).
