The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,340.21) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Arrechea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series), which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).

Die Arbeit Empire (Pentagon) State von Alexandre Arrechea kam im September 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.340,21) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84) versteigert wurde.
