Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alexandre Arrechea could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Boundless Space… The Possibilities of Burning Man auction, the work Unpopular Measures changed hands for USD 3,150.00 (€ 2,726.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexandre Arrechea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alexandre Arrechea konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Boundless Space… The Possibilities of Burning Man wechselte die Arbeit Unpopular Measures für USD 3.150,00 (€ 2.726,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84).
