Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work El Que Busca Encuentra He Who Seeks Shall Find by Alexandre Arrechea. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,333.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alexandre Arrechea have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.333,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84).
