Auction result well in line with expectations
The work John Hancock Building by Alexandre Arrechea was auctioned at Christies in New York in September last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 30,240.00 (€ 30,910.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alexandre Arrechea have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) was auctioned for USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
