Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Court House by Alexandre Arrechea was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 19,855.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Arrechea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series), which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Court House von Alexandre Arrechea kam im Oktober 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 19.855,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84) versteigert wurde.
