Auction result well in line with expectations
The work El Beso, 2005 by Alexandre Arrechea was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,133.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alexandre Arrechea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series), which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 52,529.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit El Beso, 2005 von Alexandre Arrechea kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.133,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alexandre Arrechea mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sherry Netherlands (from the 'NOLIMITS' series) beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 52.529,84) versteigert wurde.
