The work William Blake Ii by William Daniels was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,689.34), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Daniels - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanitas Ii, which sold at auction in February 2010 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,706.35).

Die Arbeit William Blake Ii von William Daniels wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.689,34) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von William Daniels mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanitas Ii beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.706,35) versteigert wurde.
