This artwork by William Daniels achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2016. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Still Life With Flowers And Curtains sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,305.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by William Daniels; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vanitas Ii sold at auction in February 2010 with the realized price of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,706.35).

Dieses Kunstwerk von William Daniels erzielte im September 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers And Curtains für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.305,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von William Daniels; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Vanitas Ii im Februar 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.706,35).
