Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by William Daniels could be acquired at Phillips in London in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work The Forest on its Head II changed hands for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,363.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Daniels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vanitas Ii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,706.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von William Daniels konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit The Forest on its Head II für GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.363,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Daniels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vanitas Ii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.706,35).
