In March 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included this untitled work by William Daniels. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,841.40), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Daniels - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vanitas Ii, which sold at auction in February 2010 for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,706.35).

Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von William Daniels zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.841,40) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von William Daniels mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vanitas Ii beobachtet, die im Februar 2010 für GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.706,35) versteigert wurde.
