Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Imkamp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 12,255.00.

Die Arbeit „Bootsfest“. von Wilhelm Imkamp kam im Juni 2019 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Imkamp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.255,00.
