This artwork by Wilhelm Imkamp achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in Cologne in February 2021. In the Art after 45 | ONLINE ONLY auction, the work without title sold for EUR 1,419.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 800.00. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Imkamp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 12,255.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wilhelm Imkamp erzielte im Februar 2021 bei VAN HAM in Köln einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art after 45 | ONLINE ONLY wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 1.419,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Imkamp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.255,00.
