Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Wilhelm Imkamp was sold in the Online Only 2020/2021 - OO 5 -3F- 18.12.20-10.1.21 auction at Grisebach in January 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,800.00 – 2,400.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,875.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Imkamp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 12,255.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wilhelm Imkamp wurde im Januar 2021 in der Auktion Online Only 2020/2021 - OO 5 -3F- 18.12.20-10.1.21 bei Grisebach versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.800,00 – 2.400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 1.875,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Imkamp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Komposition mit Kreis (Große Fassung)" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.255,00.
