all S. 19 3/4 x 27 5/8 in. (50.2 x 70.2 cm)
Signed with initials in blue marker and numbered 30/50 in black ink on an accompanying certificate of authenticity (there were also 55 in Roman numerals), published by Parkett, Zurich and New York, all framed.

The work VB08; VB35; VB16; VB39; and VB39 (P. 56) by Vanessa Beecroft was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,284.00 (€ 4,065.67), 71% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vanessa Beecroft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 71 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit VB08; VB35; VB16; VB39; and VB39 (P. 56) von Vanessa Beecroft wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.284,00 (€ 4.065,67) und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 89.199,44).
