Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work VB 42, The Silent Service, Intrepid, New York, NY. by Vanessa Beecroft was auctioned at VAN HAM in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,200.00. Admittedly, works by Vanessa Beecroft have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit VB 42, The Silent Service, Intrepid, New York, NY. von Vanessa Beecroft kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 89.199,44).
