Auction result well in line with expectations
The work VB 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa, Italy. by Vanessa Beecroft was sold in the Photography | ONLINE ONLY auction at VAN HAM in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 6,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vanessa Beecroft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit VB 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa, Italy. von Vanessa Beecroft wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photography | ONLINE ONLY bei VAN HAM versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 6.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 89.199,44).
