The work VB58 Performance Miami Push Button House, 2005 by Vanessa Beecroft was auctioned at Christies in Paris in November last year. It achieved a price of EUR 11,970.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. Admittedly, works by Vanessa Beecroft have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit VB58 Performance Miami Push Button House, 2005 von Vanessa Beecroft kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.970,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 120.000,00 (€ 89.199,44).
