In March 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Troy Brauntuch. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,594.97), 35% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Troy Brauntuch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dusk into Water, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,011.82).

Im März 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Troy Brauntuch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.594,97) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Troy Brauntuch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dusk into Water beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.011,82) versteigert wurde.
