Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Mickey and Chair) by Troy Brauntuch was sold in the First Open | Online auction at Christies in New York in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,680.32). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Troy Brauntuch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dusk into Water, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,011.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Mickey and Chair) von Troy Brauntuch wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion First Open | Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.680,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Troy Brauntuch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dusk into Water beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.011,82) versteigert wurde.
