In the The Collection of Melva Bucksbaum: Post-War and Contemporary Art, Photographs and Prints auction, the work Untitled (Mickey and Chair) sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,632.90) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Troy Brauntuch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dusk into Water in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,011.82).
