Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Troy Brauntuch was sold in the 80s auction at Phillips in New York in December 2010. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,007.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Troy Brauntuch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dusk into Water, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,011.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Troy Brauntuch wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion 80s bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.007,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Troy Brauntuch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dusk into Water beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.011,82) versteigert wurde.
