Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled 4.14 by Tomory Dodge for USD 17,500.00 (€ 16,047.68). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Tomory Dodge have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cotton Mouth in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 82,718.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled 4.14 von Tomory Dodge für USD 17.500,00 (€ 16.047,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tomory Dodge auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cotton Mouth im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 82.718,85).
