Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Tomory Dodge was sold in the Prints & Multiples Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,147.50 (€ 974.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomory Dodge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cotton Mouth in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 82,718.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tomory Dodge wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.147,50 (€ 974,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomory Dodge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cotton Mouth im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 82.718,85).
